My fitbit charge 2 has not been able to sync with the app. I have tried everything possible and still nothing seems to work. I was on the phone few months ago with an agent for hours, we tried and still nothing worked. They opened a file for my case, but haven't heard anything back as of yet.
My phone(samsung galaxy A8) does not recognize my Fitbit charge 2 anymore......how frustrating! It doesn't send me text/call notifications anymore.
Now with the new Firmware: I tried updating my charge 2, but it keeps giving me error message.
Help, please! 🙏

This has also happened to my Fitbit Charge 2 and I also have a Samsung Galaxy A8. Happened when the App asked me to download the new update.
Any help would be welcome.

I have a similar issue... I updated a few days ago and now it doesn't read my heart rate I only see 2 dashes. I wrote them and they told me to do again the troubleshooting but it didn't work.
Today, I discovered it turned off because the battery was completely drained but it never showed me the low battery message. I think they did something really bad with the last firmware update.

Exactly what is happening to me as well. I used to receive texts and calls notifications, but since I updated my phone to the newest software, I no longer receive texts and calls notifications.

Same here, I have a samsungs7. Text and calls have worked for years. Now I cannot get them to send the notifications to my Charge 2. I have uninstalled app, removed charge 2, turned BT on and off, restarted Charge 2, in every possible combination. Nothing seems to work. This started a few days ago. I have the latest version of app and firmware.

Same. My Charge 2 is now a paperweight. I don't buy electronics to throw away at the developer's whim, will not be buying another Fitbit product.
