Fitbit charge 3 not syncing or holding correct time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 suddenly stopped syncing with my iPhone And is losing time. I followed all troubleshooting suggestions: restarted the Fitbit, turned off Bluetooth, logged out of app and force quit app, turned off phone and restarted after 5 minutes. Bluetooth is not discovering the Fitbit. It is only a year old. Please help!

Android is not the problem, because I have the sync issue on both, Android and iOS. In addition, time on my fitbit device is running behind, which would be totally independent from any phone OS.

Mine seems to be dead!!! I have had nothing but problems for a year.

Mine is too after several days of problems. Call, speak to a supervisor and gently 😊 insist that they take care of it for you - and that doesn’t mean a measly 25% discount on a new one. You shouldn’t have to pay to replace a defective product!

Call Fitbit support 877-623-4997. They walked me through a few things and mine still wouldn't sync. They are sending me a replacement.

I called the customer support number and the technician and I worked through it. It's working now. I would NEVER have been able to it without help.

It stopped syncing and the time was way off. He walked me thru a few
different ways to try to sync to phone.none worked. I just got my
replacement Fitbit from FedEx.

I couldn't get my phone synced to my device. I called tech support and got
it resolved. It was a rather complicated procedure.

Ok, apparently that syncing/time issue can't be resolved with troubleshooting procedures. Fitbit is going to send me a replacement (the 2. in less than 1 year).
Their customer service is excellent. Never giving any trouble, however, I think it would be in their own benefit to get their act together with those technical issues.

Sounds like you are having a lot of trouble. Hope that mine continues to
work.

Thank you, I will call them.  My Fibit stopped synching to my phone yesterday.   I rebooted both and bluetooth but it didn't  work.  This is extremely  frustrating.

I had not seen it before but the FitBit Support accessible from your
account had a thread that addresses a lot of the concerns mentioned in this
group.
There is mention of a phased update rollout that was initiated last week.
Check it out.

Ok. Contacted Fitbit for the 4th time detailing my recurrent issue which grew to include multiple other issues.

Technician consulted with supervisor and I was given option of:

(a)50% off a different device or

(b) replacement of my Charge 3.

Chose option (b) and it was shipped today to a US address as they don't ship to Belize 🙄

The saga continues....

That is exactly what happened to mine.
I am concerned now that even with a new device the problem won't go away.
Call FitBit and see what they say.
