Fitbit charge 3 not syncing or holding correct time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 suddenly stopped syncing with my iPhone And is losing time. I followed all troubleshooting suggestions: restarted the Fitbit, turned off Bluetooth, logged out of app and force quit app, turned off phone and restarted after 5 minutes. Bluetooth is not discovering the Fitbit. It is only a year old. Please help!

After experiencing the same problems as everybody else here on this forum, I got in touch with Fitbit and after doing all the troubleshooting (unsuccessfully), they sent me a new device.
While it is obviously annoying to have this kind of problems, Fitbit compensated for it with great customer service.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I did call...4 times 😎 Guess my persistence and detailing of issues paid
off.
Got a replacement and it was shipped yesterday. Fingers crossed that it
will solve my problems.
Will update.
Thanks again.

i brought 2 charge 3s a year ago, both have this exact problem within weeks of each other. . its almost like they have been programmed to go wrong after 12 months, or when a new one comes out.

when my friend called them he was offered the charge 4 at a reduced price.  of course he was not happy with this.  he has now changed to Garmin after much frustration.

Beginning to think that might be the better option. I know Fitbit have received my pebble but was informed it not yet in the right dept so my replacement can’t be sent and may take at least another five days to get to the right dept. It’s back so replace it??

lt has definitely put me off buying another Fitbit!

Fitbit sent me a replacement for my Charge 3 and everything worked perfectly......for 1 day !!!
Now the problems are new ones. It doesn't show my sleep score, although sleep pattern shows perfectly fine. It also skipped syncing my heart rate for a period of time.
Syncing in general is more an issue of luck than something that works each and every time. Sometimes I have to try several times or even force stop the app until it finally syncs. Sometimes it also shows "no device found". In the end, after several attempts it does sync, but it's annoying. My suspicion is that this is not a hardware, but rather a software problem.

I must say that l have been very disappointed with all that’s gone on, Fitbit has been hyped up to be the best and on having all these problems and discovering just how many people are experiencing difficulties with there Fitbit watches, l don’t think l would recommend Fitbit products or purchase from them again. See how my new one fairs when it eventually arrives!

Agree! Mine finally woke up, but time is off. I am so annoyed, I didn't even bother to investigate. I have spent way too much time on this watch. I'm done.Powered by Cricket Wireless
