Hi!
My Fitbit charge 4 strap connector broke today. I bought my Fitbit in November 2020, so my charge 4 is about 17 months. Of course I wear it every day, but I guess it was meant to last longer?
I haven’t lost it or smashed it or anything , the screen is without scratches and looks as it was new.
best regards

Totally agree! I can't believe my connector and the battery started malfunctioning within days of each other. The timing is so... coincidental. If you have this many people experiencing the same issues, you'd think the company would care enough and realize that this isn't a one-off issue, but rather a consistent problem that they should actually look into and fix. Telling your customers that they can offer them 35% off to buy another low quality product that will require another replacement in a year? No thanks! It's a waste of money and also a disruption to our active lifestyles. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer for the past 7 years, purchasing for myself and family members. But this experience has turned me off and I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Amazon has 3rd party bands made specifically for this problem. The bands are one piece where the pebble sits securely in the center. Some of the brand names are Supcase, Goseth, Kakurookie and Saufly, their prices range from $7.99-$16.99. They are not fashionable but they allow you to continue to use your device. The Charge 4 has many defects, my first Charge 4’s screen
went blank, it still functions perfectly but it is useless. At least I can use my second on because of this band. The quality and workmanship of Fitbit gets a zero rating from me, wish there was somewhere that I could leave one.

Contact Support to see if you are still under warranty, some countries have a 2 year warranty period. If you aren’t, Amazon has 3rd party one piece bands that encompass the pebble allowing you to still use your device. Good luck
