I already answered both of those questions in my original post quite plainly and went through all the troubleshooting over and over again which I ALSO already said.
this, right here, is my problem with Fitbit CS. Nobody reads anything so you have to repeat yourself in increasingly simple terms half a dozen times whilst doing the exact same things you already did (and told them you did!) over and over just to waste everybody’s time.
to be clear: I no longer have any interest in solving this issue. I’ve wasted enough time (double digit HOURS) repeating myself to CS. The second I have spare cash I’ll be going elsewhere.

I am in full agreement with this persons experience. CS should just accept their product doesn’t work and either provide a replacement or refund the users. So much time wasted and unnecessary resentment built up against Fitbit.

I abandoned Fit Bit a LONG TIME AGO because their service and inability to address my problem was pathetic. I can see this company disappearing very soon. Too bad. It was a good idea.

I did everything and I was about to give up, when I thought about clearing out some memory on my phone. Sure enough, as soon as I deleted a few apps and cleared my cache, it synced! Relief.

I have an Alta HR. I worked with fitbit and we tried all the steps above and they didn't work. However, after deleting the Alta HR from fitbit, and waiting 24-hours, my Alta HR said "www.fitbit.com/setup." On setting up brand new, the Alta HR sync'd perfectly with my iphone.

This set of instructions did not work to fix my problem with synching with my iPhone. I am not happy!

I have tried all of the troubleshooting sugestions, however I can not get past the screen where you enter the number that shows up on the Charge HR, the number shows up and i enter it then it just continues to connect have waited 30+ minutes with out it ever connecting.

I have the same problem. Last sync on 29th April. I have tried all the solutions on the forum and nothing works. I have reinstalled the app too. As of the last few days my fitbit is now on the 30th June and is showing the time 25mins fast. Pretty fed up with it tbh. My fitbit was new on 31st Jan this year after being replaced when the last HR strap bubbled and broke. Not great. Is there a reset function? Help! Thanks

This is the third time that I have had this issue with fitbits! Seems to be a pattern that after a while, they just dont work any longer.Their 25% off offer just doesnt cut it anymore. It seems that they are set to just not work any more to get more business, such a scam!

I tried everything suggested for my IOS...my Fitbit Charge was syncing no problem until recently. The last sync it did was on January 4th. Is there anything else I can try? I cannot set it up on my laptop as I do not have the dongle anymore. Besides I cant remember the last time I used my laptop as I do everything with my iPhone

I tried this and my Fitbit HR Charge will not sync to my phone. I need it to so I can sync it to my WW app for tracking. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, turned Bluetooth off and back on , I’ve plugged it in and did the restart..

I just purchased my Fitbit versa 2 and it won’t sync to my iphone 7 without shutting down. I have shut my phone off 5x, deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app 5x, turned Bluetooth on/off 5x - followed everything on this community board including tried it from another computer with 0 success. I am ready to return it. HELP!!!!
