Is anybody else's Fitbit charge band too big for them now that you've lost weight? Does anyone know if they can fix this or make it smaller?

@Jene66 Welcome to our Community! Many of our members that have lost weight do mention that their trackers become a little bit loose on their wrist. I just want to mention that we don't recommend you modifying your tracker as this will void your tracker's warranty.

Yep!  I had the same problem.  I lost 65 pounds in 4 months, and now my Charge HR is too big.  Fitbit Customer Service just basically told me I'm out of luck.  Horrible design flaw, and we are paying the price for it.

@Merk54 Welcome to our Community! Wow 65 pounds lost in 4 months! Well the fact that you have had such a drastic change in your body is the reason you don't feel comfortable with the size of your tracker anymore. Still you can get the most out of your device. Try wearing it as tight as the device allows it. Hopefully you will keep achieving your goals and have a better and healthier lifestyle.

Sorry, but I don't understand how the fact that a device remains the same size and shape as it was when sold can be considered to be a design flaw. Am I missing something?

I had the same problem.  I simply took a Dremmel and cut off the outer most fastener which allowed the inner one to move up 2 spaces. Then, to make sure it didn't fall off (as if that style band ever did with the 2 fasteners) I purchased some silicone fasteners from Amazon (from a company called "Friendly Swede" ) for $6 to make it more secure if it should come unfastened.  Actually, I was using these fasteners already as mine had fallen off a number of times and I even lost one due that design problem. A bit of a hassle?  Yes...But solved the problem and at least I am wearing mine instead of trash-canning it.

Well...While my "fix" worked for sizing, the fitbit unit is now working its way out of the casing of the wristband.  The wristband is peeling away on the edges of the unit and the unit has cmpleel released itself from he rubberized wristband on one end. Everyone I know had similar problems with thr od wristband, including myself, and all who have the better designed wristbands (which also don't simply fall of one's arm without having to purchase and use silicon bands to secure it) with clasps are having no issues at all. Do you think that support would consider a replacement or some kind of work-around to repair these bands? The fitbit unit works perfectly.

I just bought a new charge 2 small and wristband is too large even at the last hole.  this should be corrected.

I bought a Fitbit charge 2 that worked great for a month. Now it’s not tracking my sleep and feels too loose. I have it attached as tightly as possible. And I plan to lose weight. There should be a way to add another notch so I can make it tighter. Or I should be able to buy a tighter band. I have a large now. Should I just throw it out and purchase from a better company next time?
