Fitbit don't do out of warranty repairs

I hope this message will reverberate through this site and beyond but a 660 million dollar company that doesn't fix it's products out of warranty if you choose you want to pay to get it fixed?

"Sorry sir it's not covered by our warranty but we can offer you the chance to buy a new more expensive one from us as we don't price match other retailers discounts but we still call it discounted" great buisness ethics James Park and Eric Friedman way to contribute to consumeristic waste!

I haven’t found any place that does repairs on Fitbit products, including the Fitbit company. I contacted Fitbit about it and their response was: “We don’t have a repair facility.” They offered me a new watch at a discounted price, but I decided to say thanks, but no thanks. I just feel Fitbit should be able to repair the products they sell.

Worse customer support I have ever seen.  Their product design causes the charger to crack the face.  To acknowledge their design flaw they have changed the way the charger attaches to the watch.  And their answer is "we'll give you a few pennies toward buying a new watch".  Who in thier right mind would ever buy another Fitbit???

Yes, I agree completely! They offer a very nice product, but absolutely no
customer support. Like you say, "they offer a few pennies" toward a new
watch.
Never again for me.

Yes, because I love my Charge 2. I don't want an all-singing, all-dancing tracker, all-intruding tracker.
