@muzzles30 To restart your Charge 3, put it on the charger and hold in the left side of the Charge 3 for at least 8 seconds.

Also, make sure you go into your Fitbit app and make sure your Exercise Shortcuts are set up correctly.  To do this, click on the icon of your Charge 3, click on "Exercise Shortcuts", and make sure you delete or add the exercises you want.

Hope this helps!

This happened to me yesterday too! I noticed right as I was about to start a 6 mile hike. I wonder if there was some update that caused our problem!

I've tried the resetting for at least 8 seconds and it still shows pilates and not weight lifting- any additional suggestions?

Thanks,

Hi @slktjs. Welcome to the Community. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your tracker prior posting to get your exercise shortcuts displayed correctly on your tracker. To work on this together, I'd recommend to perform a long restart by doing the following:

  1. Plug your device back into the charging cable and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  2. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  3. The device turns off.
  4. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  5. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  6. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Once that is done, remove and add your exercises shortcuts one more time and sync to save the changes. Make sure the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.

I'll be around, keep me posted! 😊
