Fitbit logging excessive "calories burned" while asleep?

This morning I woke up to find that the Fitbit had logged 208 active minutes between 12PM and 4AM, while I was asleep & not wearing the FitBit (I leave it on my nightstand - it was still).

While it would be great to have burned an extra 2487 calories before even moving, I know this is not the case.

I have tried to follow the other suggestions (add to the log a "driving" activity and then delete) however this seems to not work when it was only tracking calories burned and not any other type of activity (no steps, no heart rate)

Any idea how I can correct this reading by deleting the extra calories burnt? And why it might have happened?

Thanks very much!

Hey @GabbySR, welcome aboard! Logging a Driving activity only works when you want to delete steps and floors, which means that it won't work if you just want to delete calories. Is too weird that your Charge 2 tracked them along with active minutes when you were not even wearing it. we can avoid this from happening again, just try to restart your Charge 2. But the extra calories burned and active minutes won't be deleted.

Wear your tracker for a few nights and let me know how it goes!
