Fitbit won’t pair/sync with iPhone but it syncs with iPad

This just happened.   My Charge 2 is about 2 yrs old, works fine and IPad2 is about 6 mons old.

I reinstalled Fitbit app, turned Bluetooth off/on and turned iPhone off:on and my iOS is up to date.  Reading about this happening to others...so frustrating b:c I’ve have lost sleep records.

Have you tried disconnecting the bluetooth link between and iPad?

Are you sure you really mean iPad2? Although the naming is confusing (nonsense), I bought an iPad2 about 10 years ago, and it doesn't even have compatible bluetooth.

I'm confused about what is trying to be  done on iPod vs iPhone, and in what order.
