The beginning of July my Charge 2 stopped syncing with myfitnesspal.  Really annoying.  when I try to look at the app says I will have to buy it.  Is this the case.  I won't be buying the app, will go to map my walk or map my run.  So long Fitbit

I'm not sure what's happening but I am using the free apps from fitbit and myfitnesspal and things are working fine.

Which app is requiring payment?

Hi

Its fitbit that is saying it can be purchased. I check on MFP and all app adjustments is checked. It will pick up map my walk or run but no fitbit. Very frustrating. Have contacted fitbit twice before, you are the first to reply.

I may have answered but I'm afraid I don't think I am going to be able to offer any help with this.

The fitbit instructions for connecting are pretty vague:

  1. Log in to your account on the app or website of a company that offers Fitbit integration, such as MyFitnessPal, Endomondo, or Runkeeper.
  2. Find the section for connecting another account. This section is often called "Apps" or "Connect."
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and log in to your Fitbit account when prompted

Connecting this way does not require more than the free fitbit app.

If it was connected and syncing but has now stopped then it's worth trying to revoke access and connecting again. You could also try approaching myfitnesspal as the link with fitbit is their responsibility.

I'm having the same issue. Just discovered that steps from June and July haven't been syncing to MFP. On the MFP side it shows them as connected. I've rebooted my Charge multiple times, which also seems to be showing more trouble staying charged as long for this same timeframe, and I've rebooted my other devices. The one consistent problem seems to be the Charge 2 but I can't find any way on the Charge side to fix it or to see which Apps it's connected to, just the devices.
