Fitness tracker without heart monitor

I recently bought a Charge 4. However, within 4 days I've had to stop using it. This is due to numbing wrist pain that I experience on either wrist, which I believe to be caused by the heart monitor. On my left wrist, it's accompanied with pain in shoulder, on my right wrist, I have pain in two of my fingers. I know I'm not wearing it too tight as I've adjusted the strap frequently and I don't have any pain when I use my old Gambit Vivofit tracker that has no heart monitoring. I realise that most people don't experience the problems that I have experienced with my Charge. However, I know that a low minority of users have encountered this kind of reaction. It is now sufficiently bad that I feel pain for hours if I even touch the back of the tracker. Having looked online, you can barely find a tracker nowadays that does not have heart rate monitoring. What I would absolutely love is for Fitbit to develop just one type of tracker that does not include heart rate monitoring. As the majority of people would not want to have this feature missing, I don't think it should be a high-end device (something that has all the features of the Charge 5, but without heart rate monitoring would be great!) However, without this kind of device I fear that individuals who experience this kind of reaction will have to give up using fitness trackers (I know I will when my old Vivofit fails me). I have posted this just on Fitbit community, as I believe that you are the market leaders when it comes to fitness trackers and therefore I think you are best placed to support individuals like me. Thanks!

You can just turn the heart rate monitoring off in Settings.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Sorry Johnny, I should have said it makes no difference. I still get the pain. I even bought another tracker where you can turn off the green light as well as the monitoring completely and I still get the pain
