Just thought I'd share how mine seems to have fixed itself.
Like alot of people on here ,my device worked fine with my android phone ( even though Samsubg A40 isn't on the compatable list) until the clocks changed and it suddenly showed the wrong time n date and wouldn't update or sync to the app. I tried all things I could think of to fix it but this seemed to work:
.I connected my device to my laptop by the charge usb cable and down loaded the fit bit app.
. Once it was installed and opened ,I updated the app. ( i also added my device back onto my fitbit account at this point as I had removed it. I did have to search around for the "add device option but its three, possibly under "profile" or " settings".
.so once my device updated via the app on my computer, i synced it .
. So now the actual device was updated and synced up to the correct time and date. I then opened the fit bit app on my phone again and tried to sync it and it worked! All back to syncing, working order 🙂
Hope this helps

Thanks Sarah for sharing this advice, I will try to do this. It is most frustrating that I can't use my Charge 2 fully since the last software update and I know this is a common problem for many others.
