Flashing Red Light on Charge 3

When I wear my Charge 3 to sleep, I wake up to a red light flashing with the green. If I take it off and put my thumb over the sensor, I'll get one red flashing, then the green and red rapid flash together. Restarting seems to stop it, but I don't want to have to put it on the charger every morning, nor do I think that's more than a band-aid on the problem. Can anyone offer a permanent fix?

Is it a problem to be fixed?

 

Some people have speculated that the red light is to do with the SPO2 sensor.

Hi @Screaming-Tiki,

 

I believe that is for assisting the green light in finding you sleep stages as you can see on the app. Because you only need to see sleep stage when you are asleep it is only on then.
