Flashing through screens and vibrating

Since charging my Charge 3, it keeps flashing through the screens and vibrating until the battery is flat, which was about 2 hours. Any ideas how to fix it?

My fitbit has the same issue. It began last Night night showing  extremely high Heart rate  and then I woke up later in the night with the problem described in the upper message. 

From time to time the screen gets black and I have to load it, press the button for 15 sec  which gives me a bar - take it out of the  charger - put it back in - get a smiley - and  then the flashing starts again.

 

Please help.
