Flat lining on charge HR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Submitted content: Yesterday I was able to recharge my fitbit and able to sync to my
computer after supper. Then the flat line came back again. I tried to
restart several times but it would not do so. This morning I put it
on the charger again and the only thing that will come up is the
shape of an empty battery. I left it on the charger for about 6 hours.  What in the world happened to make my Charge HR discharge so suddenly and so completely. Later I hooked up to my computer and was able to charge again but it gave me a lot of steps which I did not make and is not giving me steps which I am taking. Now it is flatlining again.
Thank you

I would try a restart and if that doesn't do it, try a factory reset.

We also tried all the factory reset routes but no joy.  Fitbit support advised that it was not repairable.

Gave it to our 3 year old grandson who looked at it, shook it from side to side a couple of times then ran his finger along the white line from left to right, then pressed the button and the screen sprang back into life!

Not saying this is a permanent fix, but it's still working now!

I must be getting old if 3 year olds can fix tech!!
