Friends not available to add to closed group

Closed group - adding friends.

I followed the instructions for adding people to a closed group. I am trying to add newer friends. Their names are not showing on the group list of my friends. I tapped the red person+ icon. 

The closed group has sufficient space to add new members. 

Is there a limit on the number of friends I can invite to a closed group?

Is there a limit to the number of unaccepted invitations (invited but not joined) for a group?

Do I need the admin to clear my outstanding requests before I can add more friends to the group?

Fitbit app is up to date. Fitbit device (charge 2) is up to date and recently restarted. Fitbit app has been reinstalled recently.

SOLVED - logged out, uninstalled fitbit app, restarted device, reinstalled fitbit app - 10 minutes.

Trying to remember my password .... a lot longer.

I am now able to see the newer friends and add them to the closed group.
