From Inspire HR to Charge 3

i was given a charge 3.  I'm coming from a 3-4 year old Inspire HR.   i only use the swim, walk, exercise, workout, weights functions for exercise  and the heart rate and sleep.  I lilke my inspire but it's dying.  doesn't record sleep accurately.  i can put the inspire in my pocket and it will count steps.  necessary as most steps are with a cart or rollator. 

1) how much more difficult is the Charge 3 going to be and will it count steps from my pocket. ?    i'm 80 and don't adapt difficult technical things easily.  

2)pixel 6a phone play store just has fitbit llc.  which i already have on phone.  will it take both the inspire and charge or will i have to delete the inspire?

Do you wear your tracker inside your pocket for your normal daily activity? Usage won't be much different between devices.

You can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge series, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense series, Fitbit Versa series, and Google Pixel Watch series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

i finally made the change found out i could only have one fitbit device at
a time. inspire and garmin don't count steps when walking holding onto a
cart but the inspire HR will count if in pocket. garmin doesn't.
tomorrow i will test the charge 3 and see if it counts when holding onto a
cart and in my pocket. the charge 3 didn't come with a pocket clip.
the nspire 3 does so we'll see if i keep the charge. at 80 years old i
only walk, do a little weights and a little swimming so i don't need all
the bells and whistles. ease of use is best for me.

Please let me know how it goes with your Charge 3 in your pocket while you walk onto a cart. You're right, you can wear your Inspire 3 with a pocket clip. 

I hope it goes well with your tracker and that you can get back on track soon.
