GPS distance inaccurate (cycling)-Charge 3

I see most people don't get the distance they deserve, but... my Charge 3 records 44,8 km while my very accurate Mio navigation only tracks 41 km. I even rebuild the route in Strava and the REAL distance is 41 km, so my Charge 3 is giving me an unwanted bonus. And yes, I went thru each and every reset routine Fitbit offers, but this just does stick. Why? I need accuracy! I've had this problem for 2 months now, frankly... gutted.
