GPS mileage is different every walk, yet it's the same walk every time?

I've recently changed from  a Charge 2 to a Charge 3 and found it to be wildly inaccurate. A regular 2 mile walk I do is coming up as 1.27 miles. My 4 mile walk comes up as 3.4 miles??

The map of my walk looks as if I walk backwards and forwards within a 10 foot distance 2 or 3 times??

Have tried rebooting Charge 3 but it makes no difference.

Very frustrating and am thinking of returning the Charge 3 and going back to my Charge 2 which I've never had a problem with.

I gave the same issue with Charge 3 and connected GPS. This has messed up my fitness score (don' t really care) and the pace during run is always wrong (care a lot) so i can' t check it as I run. I'm currently tracking my runs on 3 apps, the other 2 are fine and consistent. Fitbit app is always wrong. For a 7.1km run, fitbit only measured 5.8km, which is way outside some sort of an error margin.
