My Charge 2 won’t track my route when the phone is locked.
I’ve just changed to a Samsung A10 and it will only track my run or cycle if my phone is active. My previous S7 tracked my runs but never my cycles. (I was just started trying to work this out when I decided to change phone but now I’m in a worse situation, arrrrrg!)
I’ve checked things like the Connections GPS, notifications and allowing Fitbit to run in the background. I’ve reset it too but it hasn’t made a difference.
Help!

Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list. That typically means it might work for some functions and not others.

It’s running an up to date version of Android and I had the same problem with my Samsung S7 (which is a supported device) only when tracking a cycle, walking was fine.
I don’t accept that I just have to put up with leaving my screen on just to track an exercise. I shouldn’t have to decide which phone to purchase just to meet the supported devices list.
Are there no fixes to this problem?
