Gifted an older FitBit, but what model?

I received an older FitBit model and I'm trying to bring it on-line.  I believe it's a Charge, but not sure as the band doesn't match.  Any help in ID would be appreciated.  Purchased early 2016 for about $120 according to the original owner.  All she provided was the FitBit and a USB cable.  No dongle.  Not sure there is/was one?

That's a Charge HR, mostly the same as the Charge but with heart rate added.  I think it came with dongle, but not required now for most people, though you can still buy one fairly cheap.  The dongle was for syncing with PC.  If you have a smart phone or tablet, you can probably sync with it, making the dongle unnecessary.  Likewise can sync with a Windows 10 PC with bluetooth.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for the model ID....

I'm now going through the "Syncing your Fitbit tracker" process via the USB cable (device to mac) and three times in a row it times out with "Tracker connection lost!  Your tracker has disconnected, please try again".

Any ideas on what's going on?

As a side note, this was my sisters and used a couple dozen times.  Been sitting in a drawer for a couple years now and she gave it to me.  So I'm not leaning towards something 'broken/abused'.

Sitting in a drawer for a couple years does kill the battery. so it might be toast
