Goal Start Date wont change

I reset  setup my goal today. Now the goal start date is today and while I can see where to make the change back to my original start date, all dates other than today are greyed out. The "wheel" will spin but always rolls back to today as if there is no information prior to today.

My history is all there, but it won't let me reset it. I've followed all of the instructions numerous times but nothing works. Logged out of Fitbit on PC, restarted my iPhone.  

Please fix this.

Could you please explain a little bit more about your question? If you're talking about the weight goal start date, please check the awesome instructions  my friend @SolangeE posted to edit this information from your Fitbit.com Dashboard.

Thank you, that did allow me to change the starting date.   Yeah!!

FitBit does still have a issue with the app, they need to address that as well.

I am having the same problem.  Any help on changing the start date retroactively (and keeping it saved) would be appreciated!

Thank goodness I finally found this! I was tearing my hair out.

I'd like to suggest that somebody go through and archive the many, MANY duplicates of this question (some of them 3+ years old). It took me a good 20 minutes to finally find this one, and it was the 8th link down in the Google search results.
