Wipe and/or shake off any water that may be on the device then set it aside in a place where it can dry
off, perhaps in front of a fan or heat/cool vent in your home. Once it is dry, connect it to whatever device you use to recharge it. That MAY work, depending on how much water and how log it was there.

RICE is always the answer - not Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation - that's for swollen ankles and stuff. I'm talking real RICE - uncooked, straight from the bag! Any time you get electronics wet that weren't meant to get wet, throw them in a container of dry uncooked RICE for 2-3 days. It is a natural desiccant and it will draw the moisture out of the device. Once complete your Fitbit may be ok and you can make a nice healthy side dish for dinner!
For what its worth Fitbits are water resistant - just like many watches are water resistant - no one says waterproof anymore - it's legaleese. I've worn my Fitbit Charge in the shower, swimming, whatever. No issues electronically ever...but my band has completely fallen apart because it is a poorly designed, terribly manufactured, defective product.
Hope yours turns out ok - make sure you replace it for band issues before the warranty expires - otherwise you will be SOL like me 😞

Hey there guys @Matt-Toronto @Shuston9 @jbrooks987. It's great to see you in the Community! 😄
@Shuston9, I'm very sorry about your wet tracker 😕
@Matt-Toronto @jbrooks987 gave some great advise and personally, I would also suggest the rice as it will absorb the humidity inside the tracker.
If after doing that your tracker still doesn't work, feel free to get in touch with the Support Team. They will be happy to take a look into your case and provide you with the best option.
Let me know if you need help with this process!

I went to a water park today and while I didn’t swim, my Fitbit did come in contact with water. It buzzes for about a second on a sporadic basis. I appreciate any help.
