Starting about 2 weeks ago, my Charge 2 started being inconsistent with picking up my heart rate. I tried several troubleshooting options including changing the HR monitoring in the app, and resetting my Fitbit. On the last reset, the two green lights on the bottom of my Fitbit turned off it is so longer registering my heart rate at all. My Charge 2 is out of warranty by 6 months. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have been experiencing the same problem for the last month.
heartrate tracking will stop working. lights will go out. restarting the fitbit will fix it for a short period but then I have to restart the device again. the time it keeps working is getting shorter and is now down to 1-2 hours.
this seems to be a software problem.
my charge 2 is also out of warranty since the end of march, wonder if this is a coincidence 😕

I am now having this issue as well. After combing through the previous posts regarding this issue, I restarted the tracker, turned the HR setting off, on, and back to auto and resynced each time, and let the tracker die completely and recharge completely. Nothing is helping. I do minimal physical activity outside of work so this tracked should still be working well. The HR tracking is the biggest reason I chose this tracker, but now it’s not working and the sleep tracking has reverted to basic tracking because it relies on the HR tracker for data.

Mine has stopped as well, and in a similar way. Mine is a replacement and is about the same age as yours. I’ve also restarted, etc as you have done. Maybe a bad batch? I am looking at other trackers to replace this one as I haven’t had the best luck with this thing from the beginning.
