This has happened every time I got a new phone. I do not know where my dongle is since I moved. When I try to set it up to my phone I get to the point where it says connecting and it just stays there for hours. I've uninstalled the app multiple times and gone thru the setup process every time. I've tried restarting my device too and nothing works. please help.

Do you still have your old phone? If so, check its bluetooth settings and remove any link it still has to your fitbit as this could be blocking connection to your new phone.
Also, have you checked that your new phone is supported by fitbit at www.fitbit.com/devices ?
