My Charge 2 recently died for the second time. The first one failed shortly after purchase, and Fitbit replaced it. Now, at just 3 years old, the replacement is dead. Fitbit has offered me a discount for a replacement, but I was very displeased with the heart rate sensor on the Charge 2. I tried EVERYTHING to fix it, including chatting with customer support. Sometimes it would just stop reading during exercise, or it would suddenly read 70 bpm toward the end of a workout, when I knew that wasn't true. No adjustment or cleaning could fix the problem. I have seen others complain of the same issue. So before I spend money on another Fitbit, I want to know how the new models are performing. Does anyone have insight?
