Health & Wellness reminders tab disappeared

With the recent update, I saw the new feature for the health and wellness reminders, so I turned them on to try.

I hate them and want to turn them off, yet they have disappeared from my app!

They are still an option on my Child'd Ace 2 linked to my account, but the option to turn them on or off is no longer in my main account.

Help me stop these things!  The repetition is driving me nuts!

Oh, and I've tried deleting the app on my phone and reinstalling as well as deleting the device from the app and re-adding it.    No dice.

It was so easy to turn on, but find the way to turn it off make me also nuts..

My device I have wrist, notifications, reminders
to move but no health & wellness reminders!!

So therfor can't turn it off

Remember turn it on in "health & wellness" after it vanish from app!?

So help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Thank you for these steps. Unfortunately, there isn't a "Health and Wellness Reminders" tab in my app. I have the Charge 3 and I've tried everything now: uninstalling and reinstalling the app, unlinking the device and linking it again, resetting my Fitbit,... Nothing works and I need those reminders GONE! They are awful and I don't need them. Please help me!

Josie, I also have a charge 3 and these steps worked for me. After you click on your avatar to access your account, then click on picture of your Charge 3 under Devices, you should see Health and Wellness under General. You might have to scroll down.

Thanks - that's exactly where I've been looking for the tab. But I don't have it. For me it's "Reminders to move" and then straight to "Main goal". "Health and wellness reminders doesn't show up anywhere - not even further down. I've made sure all updates were installed and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the tab doesn't show up. It's really frustrating. 😐

@Josie_K, thanks for the steps tried on your own, as well for reviewing the suggestions from this thread. I'm sorry that the Health and Wellness tab doesn't appear on the Fitbit app and let's work on this together. Just to confirm, may I know the model and OS/software version of your phone? Also, could you take a screenshot of the reminders that you're receiving and attach it in your reply? These details will help me to further investigate.

Darn. I tried those steps, Lizzy and it didn't work for me. I have the Fitbit Charge 3 HR. I have a Xiaomi Remi Note 7 Pro running Pixel Experience 10.0 on Android version 10. I also have a MacBook Air running 10.15.6 Catalina and use Chrome version 85.0.4183.102 to access my Fitbit Dashboard.

Health & Wellness Reminders disappeared!!

Dear Lizzy,

thank you for getting back to me. 

I have a Sony Experia phone (H8324) with Android 10 running on it.

Unfortunately I can't take a screenshot because I receive the reminders only on my Fitbit device (Charge 3) and not on the phone.

I already tried the steps you posted further down in this threat - logging out, clearing cache, forcing stop, restarting phone. Unfortunately it still didn't work: I don't see the tab that would allow me to turn those horrible reminders off. I really hope we can find a solution for this soon!

Thanks for your efforts while troubleshooting the Fitbit app and for the screenshots provided. I'm sorry that the Health & Wellness tab doesn't appear on the Fitbit. This shouldn't be happening and I've forwarded your comments to our team so they can further investigate this situation. Once I have more details from them I'll update this thread. In the meantime, make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated so we can ensure the other features will continue working correctly.

Yes!  Having the same issue. I have a charge 3. The reminders are driving me crazy and I can't turn them off!! I wouldn't mind if they were something useful and different each time but it's the same exact thing over and over again. Hopefully they will come up with a solution to this issue, anyone else regretting turning them on in the first place? Just me? Ok.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for your participation in the forums. Let me explain that the Health and Wellness tab is available in certain countries and to make sure the correct location is set in your Fitbit account, I'd recommend to verify the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app on your phone.
2. Tap on your profile picture > the tile with your name.
3. Tap Personal > Location (tap the gear icon > Location on Android).
4. Tap Country
5. Choose your country, and tap Done. If you live in the United States, after you choose your country, you can also add your city and state. Under Location Detail, tap Edit Location Details and then type your city.
6. Tap Save.

Once that is done, tap Today > profile picture > Fitbit device image and try turning off the Health and Wellness Reminders one more time.
