I am not able to follow/ watch my heartbeat level on the Fitbit while am on exercise mode ie swim or run , unless I stop that mode and switch back to ‘Home’ screen 😞
How do I watch the heartbeat on the Fitbit device while exercising please?

Changing the clock face in the Fitbit app may help if you choose one that has the heart rate as one of the constantly displayed stats. Under the Charge 3 section of the App click on Clock Face and then All Clock Faces and you can see what’s available. Selecting one and syncing will change it on the device.
I will note, however, real time heart rate has been an impossibility on my charge 3. It is very slow to “catch up” to my current heart rate at random times. Sometimes taking an entire minute to match my current heart rate when checking.

Simply swipe to the heart stats fitting most event recordings.
However Swim is one event that doesn't try and read the heart rate

I have a similar question. When I look at the Fitbit c3 on my wrist the default I see under the time is the steps. If I want to see heart rate I have to press the side buttons. How do I change the setting to always show the heart rate, and if I want to see steps or another setting I can press the side button?
