Heart rate accuracy with Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have had my charge2 for over a year and have been disappointed since the very first day. The initial strap kept coming off. Customer service was quick to reply and sent a new band which worked perfectly.

I tried to adjust my charge2 to get a correct heart beat reading per the online help documents but found it to be varying up to 20 BPM in the space of seconds. The same exercise would report very different BPM and the reporting lagged. Readings were suspect. Today I wore my old heart beat monitor along side my charge2 and found as much as 25 BPM under counnt on my fitbit. I have retired my fitbit today and gone back to my old monitor.

Hello @cdavis2047 thank you for bringing this to my attention, welcome to the Community Forums. Let me give you a hand with your heart rate concern.

I'm happy to know that our Customer Support team provided you assistance with the band inconvenience you experienced in the past. However, regarding the heart rate situation, seems odd that your device is measuring heart rate data in such way, this is certainly not a common situation nor the way this specific feature was designed, thanks for taking the time to learn more about this in some help documents. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Charge 2 and check the information that is specified on: What factors impact my heart rate? for more details.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around if you need further assistance.
