I joked with friends when I first wore my Fitbit charge 2 that if I ever noticed the heart rate at zero then I must be dead. My heart rate now shows as nonexistent on my charge 2 so I will go lay down somewhere like a properly deceased person! As I read other posts I find there are numerous defects with the heart rate monitor. This is not acceptable performance by this commonly used consumer device!

@Heartratenone Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your heart rate reading. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.
