Well, mine is doing the same thing, and I think I see what is wrong. It's the same thing I've ben harping about for the last few months, and this is the end of the road for me, and thmy Charge 3. The nail in the coffin for me appears to be build quality. The long and short is that these devices are junk. On the back of the devcie are three sensors and an LED. The three sensors look like a light detection sensor so it knows that it is on your wrist (dark sensor), and two sensors that pick up the reflected light from the LED (red sensors). In my case, it looks like all of the sensors have either water vapor, or vapor from degassing of an adhesive on the inside of the clear plastic, rendering them useless. That is why the HR is no longer registering.

Two items of note. This device is supposed to be water resistant. I don't take it in the shower, or swim with it, but it has had a splash while washing my hands. That should not be enough to get water in there.

This is an obvious mechanical defect, so again, FitBit is an all around failure. The physical devices are poorly made. The app is an abysmal failure that does nothing but advertise and try and upsell you on features that are standard from other companies, and the Firmware on the devcies is trash. Top that with a forum that serves no other purpose except to vent, and a developer team that soesn't understand the problems, much less how to fix the code, and you are well set up for a disappointing experience.

To the Fitbit management, I can't wait to see you go down in flames. I'll post the video of the series of failures here once it's up. Until then, stay healthy, and buy somewhere else.

I guess that does it for me. Just a quick update. So I contacted teh crack tech support team in...who knows where, and they were nice enough to brick my Charge 3 for me. Supposedly escalated, but the help steps they walked me through got me stuck on a smile face screen, and that's it. You all need to be taken to court. The tech support guy seemed to be trying, but...I don't think completely useless is supposed to be the main objective.

That's it for me. Need to do some research. I will get a refund, come hell or high water. Chat help just gave me all the proof I need to win. Later.

Well mine is going down hill fast, does not sync now, and you can barely read the time much less anything else. Started on Friday and has gone down hill from there.
