Heart rate not showing or updating in the app

For the last week or so, my heart rate is not showing on the app. Also, it will not update the heart rate graph unless I click into it. 
This is affecting my workout times as it’s showing as 0 minutes as the heart rate is not tracking properly. It eventually updates but it super annoying! 
Any ideas how I can fix this pls? 
Before the all day sync button was removed, if I toggled this between off and on it would kick in. Now that’s gone, it won’t update. I’ve tried rebooting, unpairing, turning Bluetooth off and on etc. Nothing works
