I have noticed today that my heart rate has not been tracked at all. I have it set to Auto detect in the app but no data at all. Also my sleep for last night looks like it has not tracked properly. On the tracker itself the two dashes on the heart rate display aren't even flashing. Any suggestions? Thanks

@ClareFarquhar Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't recording your heart rate. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device. Also turn off the heart rate sensor, save and sync then turn it to auto and save and sync again.
Regarding the sleep, what are you seeing that is incorrect? Is time missing from the sleep log or recorded at an incorrect time.
I look forward to your reply!

Hi,
I have already tried cleaning, restarting and turning heart rate monitoring off and back on. The problem seems to be that the green lights on the back of the tracker are no longer flashing, just a constant green light which now seem to be fading.
The problem with the sleep tracking is probably related as it is not detecting sleep stages . Is there anything else that I can try?
Thanks

I have been having the same issue since February 2nd. I’ve done all the troubleshooting and had no luck. It’s becoming concerning as I am missing valuable data for my workouts.

This is becoming frustrating and no further reply from Fitbit. I am tempted to look at other brands but my son just got a kids Fitbit so we can compete and it would be a shame if we were using different trackers.

I did yet another reset last night and this time it seems to have worked. Maybe try again? I wish you luck. I know how frustrating this is. I am hoping my HR tracking does not stop again.

Thanks, after reading your suggestion I did try again last night and got very excited when the green lights started flashing. However after charging overnight it is again not working. I'm starting to wonder if it's my tracker or the firmware as I have seen a few posts with similar issues over the last few days.

Similar issue suddenly no heart rate tradings. Cleaned rebooted and also turned it off re synced and still not working? Firmware glitch? Green lights are flashing.

Same problem here! I have reset several times and cleaned my tracker. Still no heart rate. My green lights on the back are blinking.

Hi,
I don't want to tempt fate but my Charge 2 appears to be working again. I did another few resets late at night and eventually it started working again. Fingers crossed it lasts.
Thanks
Clare
