My heart rate stopped showing up yesterday.  It came back for about 1/2 hour but hasn’t registered since.  The green light is going on and all other stats are showing up.

I had been using the HR, I know how to use it.  No matter what I did it would not work.  Then it started rapidly scrolling through all the screens at times.  After that it started turning the features on/off such as notifications, alarm, stopwatch.  Then, it just went blank.  I tried charging it, the display would only show the battery.  I assume it is gone.  I have seen so many other similar complaints on here, I am wondering if Fitbit is trying to get everyone to buy the new one and phasing out the 2.

Facing exactly similar issue now. Tried all these tricks of re-start the device, no help
