@GrandadGul Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you with your heart rate reading. Where are you viewing this information (on the tracker or on the app)? Could you share a picture of this? I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

Let me know how it goes.

Fixed by turning heart rate off then back on

I've had the same problem and tried all the suggestions and STILL not working. I've given up and bought myself another Charge 3. I had one of those before but the display went all skewy and none of the suggestions on the forums fixed that either. I just think these devices have relatively short life spans and when they go wrong they go wrong for good and you just have to bin them and move onto the next. Or buy an apple watch.

@JaminP Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

@GrandadGul thank you for the update and sorry for the delay in mine. Happy to hear that your tracker is working now and thank you for sharing what you did to correct the issue as it may help other members in the same situation.

@JaminP sorry to hear about the difficulties you have had with your Fitbit devices. Remember that your tracker comes with a warranty that you can check here. If your device has any issues, feel free to let our Support team know about them. Still happy to hear that you have a new device.

I'll be around.

just to update turning off then back on did not work as heart rate stopped working again. Fitbit support have informed me that my charge 2 is out of warranty so nothing they can do. They have given me a discount voucher on a new Fitbit.
