I will preface this by saying that I have had this issue since day 1 of using my Charge, and I have tried the following fixes before posting because I know this is a common/documented issue.
So it has now been over a month and I still cannot get an accurate pulse during intense activity, which is really frustrating! Concrete examples: running up a steep hill, manually count my HR at around 160. Charge says 110-115. Doing a HIIT workout, totally gassed and out of breath, heart racing, Charge has me in the "Fat Burn" zone of ~120. I am totally fine with "inaccuracy" (off by 10-20) because I know this won't be an exact measurement, but this is just useless as-is 😞 Wondering if i have a malfunctioning Charge or if this is just as good as it'll get.

Hello @kymonet, it is great to see new members around! I appreciate the time that you have taken to try to fix these inaccuracies with the heart rate monitor of your Charge 2. Beside that, I'd like you to try the following to improve this:
- Try changing the setting (either Auto to Off; Off to On and On to Auto again) and then sync your tracker. The change won't take effect until you sync.
Let me know how it goes!

I've had Charge 2 for more than 2 years. It has never accurately measured heart rate during moderately strenuous exercise. For example, a Stairmaster may measure my pulse at 145, but Fitbit would display 78, 89, 105--a nice random assortment. but never a pulse that reflects my effort Don't have a clue what to do about it except choose a piece of equipment that measures pulse.
