I need to change my start date BACK to the day I got my Fitbit because it's now showing that I haven't lost any weight. I've tried to do this the traditional way on the app and it won't let me save it, I guess becaus the date is in the past?? Is there way of doing it on the website which I can try?

On the Fitbit.com website after logged in to your account, in the menu click 'log -> food'..

By the food plan, click the left arrow once, a plan summary appears. Click the button 'edit plan'. A screen appears where it's possible to change your starting day & weight.

This may be irrelevant to your question (if so I apologize), but if you use an Aria, or I guess it would work otherwise, you can go to your activities, choose weight, and delete the inaccurate ones, if it's weight inaccuracies.  Disregard if I completely missed the point.  Blame it on a runner's high?

Great question, great answer. I've been struggling with this for awhile, somehow I messed up my start date and had to log my starting weight much later which created silly spikes in my graph. So happy to finally have this resolved on my account. Thank you to both of you!

Hi. I have this same problem, but when i click the left arrow on food plan, it just takes me back to what I ate yesterday. Would love more insight on what I'm missing here! thanks!

You need to be on the website not on the app 🙂

I did that and it shows on the website, but doesn't update in the app. Is there a way to get the app to show my real start date?

I didn't have a food plan set up so under Log => Food => Food Plan, I had to click "Get Started".  This brought up a menu where I could edit my weight goal.  Here it told me what my goal was and when I set it.  I clicked on the blue edit link and was able to change the start date.

You can do it in the app.  Click 'account' down in the bottom right corner of the app. Now click 'Nutrition and body'. Next change your start date, then change your starting weight. Go back to your dashboard, it should be back where it was before. You might have to do this again next time you access the app

I had to do it twice before it stuck 😃

Sweet, that worked for me so thanks! I've lost 30 of 80 lbs and was really bummed that my dial readjusted all the way to the right again.
