High/peak heart rate monitoring incorrect

Run 1

Heart rate according to Fitbit:

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know a solution?

Welcome to Fitbit word where accurate HR is not a priority at all.

So, when you're doing exercises you should wear the trackert a little tighter and a little higher on the arm (meaning not on the "wrist bone" but slightly above).

That's what Fitbit says in the instructions and I assume it's to avoid fluctuations due to abrupt changes in the tracker position.

Are you doing that? Just to rule out the basic potential causes. 🙂

I did do that, but now I've done it cut-off-circulation-level tight and so since doing that it hasn't had the issue again. So maybe it's okay now.

And, as soon as I post this, the issue reoccurs. So, no, I take it back - Fitbit is still **ahem** at measuring heart rate.
