Same problem I’ve reported on multiple occasions and yet it’s happened again.
Today 4/28 My charge 3 indicates 9 out of 9 hours of daily step activity. The app, on my iPhone 7 Plus shows 7 out of 9 hours of daily step activity. This incompatible mismatch sync has occurred on numerous occasions and been reported each time. And it’s never been resolved. Why is that Fitbit? I think it’s time I investigate your competitors. I’m very unhappy.

This annoys the heck out of me, too.

My app regularly doesn’t record at least one active hour per day. My total step count on the dashboard is the same, but when I open the step count to check the graph of steps per hour the step count is never the same. There are always fewer steps in the graph screen than my overall step count. No clue why there is a discrepancy between screens.
