From main clock face, scroll right (swipe left) to 'Timers'.  Tap that to choose between stop watch and countdown timer.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Welcome to the Community @Buddy1234 and @JohnnyRow thanks for the input.

I was able to see here that our friend @JohnnyRow provided some instructions in order to find the stopwatch on your Charge 3. Was this the answer you were looking for? If it was, I recommend marking the answer given as a solution. By doing this, other users with the same inquiry will be able to find a faster response

Now, if your inquiry/issue wasn’t resolved, let me know and I will be glad to help you out. Robot Happy

I cannot find it to stop it either. It started running on it's own.

Hit the "pause" icon. To reset it, swipe up and you'll see the reset icon.

Trying to find the stopwatch on a Charge 3 and cannot. I've tried everything and followed the swipe left or right from the main clock face as suggested - and there's no stopwatch. Tried every screen, swiped up, dow, sideways, spent an hour trying this, as have a few other people. Nothing. There is no stopwatch. Any thoughts? Big reason for having Charge 2 was the easy to use stopwatch.

This does nothing. Swiping left on mine reveals nothing. There seems to be no stopwatch.

Is the "Timer" app listed in your installed apps from the mobile app? Charge 3 - Apps and then you'll see "my Apps" and "All Apps". If it's not in "my Apps" then check it in "All Apps"

It¹s ticked. It says INSTALLED. Nothing there. Nothing happens.

Well, **ahem**. Sorry, I'm out of ideas.

What¹s the point of you then?

I thought this was supposed to be a support group. Not a Œdunno mate¹ group?

Is the item faulty? What do I do?

Want¹s the point of being a moderator if you don¹t moderate?

When you swipe left (scroll right) from clock face, if you get to 'Timers' and tap that, then within 'Timers' swipe left or right to switch between 'Stopwatch' and 'Countdown'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

This would be fine IF, IF, IF anything happened when you swiped anywhere
from the clock face. I can swipe down (up?), but only one in six or seven
times and it¹s pretty unreliable, but nothing happens when I try sideways..

I¹ve wasted three hours on trying ti make this stupid device work and am
bored and frustrated. The instruction manual says, in effect, ³To use Timer,
use Timer.² there are no proper instructions. I¹ve used a Fitbit 2 for years
and this new thing is utter crap. The so-called 'support community' couldn¹t
support a small plant with a big stick. It¹s a joke.

You have to tap side button twice and select pause or finish!  Don’t swipe just hit button twice and hit finish to stop. They need to fix this because it is not intuitive.

  1. Hit side button twice and select finish to stop. Pause holds time but you have to hit finish to stop the clock and exit!

Thanks. It¹s not that it¹s not intuitive, I can¹t get to the stopwatch at
all when the machine is on my wrist. It works easily whEn it¹s off the
wrist, but not on it. I¹ve tried this with a couple of other people¹s Charge
3 and it¹s the same on all of them. The haptics are rubbish. The screen is
too small for the wipe to work. There are scores of other haptic problems as
well. It¹s a case of too many whistles and bells and not enough simple
working. A sure sign that Fitbit is on the way out. I¹m sending it back.

The choice for stopwatch has disappeared on my Charge 3. Any advice?

Go back to a Fitbit 2.

The Fitbit 3 is rubbish. Can¹t get my stopwatch to work either. Far too many
whistles and bells and they don¹t work.

The clock is one of the worst things There seems to be no way to get to 24
hours use. Tried on the web and it doesn¹t work. All I get now are scores of
notifications telling me to ³Upgrade to Premium².

Seriously considering, as are most of my mates who have a 3, dumping Fitbit.

I'm wasting too much of my time trying to figure out how things work. Is there not a manual available anywhere?
