How can I track a NuStep regiment using my Charge HR?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I use a NuStep recumbent stepper for stroke rehab. My Fitbit Charge HR only records steps if I use the handgrips (my arms are moving). I do 5000 steps on the device and the Fitbit records approx 3700. Any ideas?

@JBA1952 A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Your post caught my attention since it has no answer to your inquiry. I hope you are doing great with your rehab. To answer your question, your Charge HR needs hands movements as though you are walking in order to track your steps accurately since the tracker is worn on your wrist. This is why your tracker might not track steps if you are not moving your arms during the NuStep workout. If you don't hold the handgrips, my best advice is to log the activity manually on your Dashboard in order to have accurate record of your workout.

Would it be possible to wear the Fitbit around an ankle?
