Hi. My son has a Charge 3 which & the app is on my phone. His Charge 3 vibrates when I get a text & I don’t want him reading my texts. Can anyone tell me how I stop him getting my text messages please? Many thanks.

@JonathanEd, welcome! You can turn off text, calls and other notifications (or customize them to your liking... letting Fitbit push notifications through, for example) right from your Fitbit app. Tap on Charge 3 icon, scroll down to "Notifications", tap on it - and you'll see a bunch of options for different notification types. Can turn them on and off and customize particular apps for notifications to be enabled (if needed).

You can also turn off (if needed) All-day Sync as well as Always Connected and Keep-Alive Widgets (same page where you can get to "Notifications", but Always Connected and Keep-Alive Widgets would be on the bottom). This could also improve your phone battery life.

I'm having the same problem.  I went into the app on my iPhone and there is nothing under the notifications category to turn off notifications for texts or phone calls.  I also logged into my account on my laptop and didn't see it there either.  I'm a nurse and can't have my phone vibrating every 5 mins while I'm at the bedside.  I tried turning off different things but nothing has worked. Maybe you ca share a screenshot where it shows the option to turn off texts and phone call notifications? Thanks.

Never mind.  I literally tried again right after and figured it out.  Oops!

Hi, I purchased a charge 3 for my son to use and cannot do the following. My son receives my text messages from my phone which I would like to stop. I've tried the tips and techniques on this community board, for example turning off notifications on his watch but that does not work. Please help. I have an iphone XS max.

Also, my son would like to see the weather notifications and again I've tried most tips on this forum such as choosing our location etc but we cannot get the weather all to work.

We are based in Sydney.

Thanks

Michael
