I only get option on fitbit 3 to select running, walking and swimming. Is there a possibility to add different ones? Aqua aerobics, yoga, Pilates...

Help! I 😊

Your watch will only display 6. You need to edit via the app on your
device. But my edit button has disappeared for life in my app on the device.

This didn’t work for me. On the dashboard, I have the exercises I want, but it won’t sync to the device. I’ve tried rebooting, synching, doing both while in the charger, and nothing works. Can you help?

I called fitbit to help with this.   From the exercise screen click on the clock on the top right. From there you can add exercises.  You can't delete any .

Thanks, I figured this out on the app, but it won’t sync to my charge 3. Tried rebooting and synching in and out of the charger - just won’t transfer to it.

Dear all
To edit the workouts or amend the time for interval tap on the watch icon
on the top right.
Then scroll down to 'Exercise shortcuts'
You can then start editing the options there!!

OMG... all the replies for me to change my exercises was NOT working!!  I had to figure it out myself..  So here is the formula I used:

1.)  open fitbit app on phone

2.)  click on badge in upper right hand corner

3.) when account screen comes up, scroll down to pic of watch Charge 3 (3rd one down) and click on it

4.) when the next screen comes up, scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts and click on it

5.)  all shortcuts will be filled so in order to add "walk" or any other shortcut, you will need to click on edit button and delete one.  The plus sign will show up underneath the last exercise listed once one is deleted.  Click on the plus sign and scroll through the exercises listed until you find "walk" or any other exercise you want to add.

6.) click done when finished (in upper right hand corner), if that is not an option then just keep clicking upper left hand corner to get back to home screen in app.

Also...you can put them in specific order as well....  just delete them all and add them back in the order you want them to show up on your watch..   Hope this helps...

My app has 6 exercises but my watch only has 5 and Pilates has suddenly appeared and replaced swimming!  Synching has taken place numerous times but Pilates is still there.  How can I get swimming back

Hi- have already done that, it’s set up the way I want it- both in app and online dashboard. My Fitbit itself doesn’t have it right.

I think I figured it out, if your going to swim, after your done log it in and select swimming. After2-3 Xs it recognizes the swimming and your choices will
Change to include the swimming.

There is a very limited number of exercise activities that I can choose from. If there is a way to enter more activities, I do not see how. I would like to add things like backpacking, kayaking, etc. What am I missing?

Also, I never do stairs, yet there are days it says I have done 30. It also has said I have done over 6000 steps before I leave my apartment at noon. This is not accurate at all. Have I set it up wrong or what?

Open the exercise icon.
Top right, round icon,
Type kayaking. I just did it and it worked. I had to call fitbit
directly about miscalculating steps. They did resolve the problem. My
tracker says I outdoor bike every day.... Not so. I haven't called them
about this.
Good luck with this.

My Charge 3 is not connecting to GPS when I ride my bike.  (It was but now I can’t get it to work again.). One of the work around I see here is to go into the app to track it.  However...when I go in to track it (not log it) biking or outdoor bike is not an option.  It is an option for logging but I want it to track it.  I’m very frustrated as I’ve tried everything.  I’m also biking in the same place I was able to track with GPS before.
