Hi, I have a new Charge 3 but didn't like the band that came with it. I purchased one from Amazon that looks more like a regular watch band. Are these hard to trade out? I don't want to ruin my Fitbit. Thanks!

Make sure the band will fit your exact model. I've changed from the Charge 2 to the Charge 3 and the bands do not interchange.

Charge 3 bands are easy to switch.
See How do I change the wristband on my Fitbit device?
That link has big diagrams. After switching, always make sure the new one is secure before wearing it outside.

I purchased a new band for my Charge 3 that looks like a metal watch band. Thanks to a reply from my post, I was able to attach my Fitbit to the new band with no problem at all. However, now one end of the Fitbit will not stay attached to the band. I hear the "pop" that lets me know everything is attached but all of a sudden one side comes loose from the latch. The three times it has done this it's fallen on carpet but I'm concerned that it will fall off on concrete or a hard surface and break. Any ideas for how I can get this to stay attached to the band? I actually thought about using super glue but don't want to ruin it completely. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I have tried to replace my Charge 3 band after the original broke. The replacement band kept on falling off. Now the replacement has broken...and i can't get the bottom band to attach. Do i really need to get a whole new fitbit to address this 'band' issue? Makes me think an applewatch might be the way to go!! grrr. Any suggestions?

My band broke last night, and when taking the old piece off to tape it up (while I wait for my new band), I had trouble getting the band to stay attached to the tracker. I removed both bands that connect to the tracker. One side is clean as a whistle; the other side is extremely dirty. In fact, it looks like the dirt build-up has affected the latch from moving at all. I cleaned the dirt off with a paper-clip and was able to pry the latch in the up/locked position. The watch went back together (for now!) and seems to be holding fine.
Dear Fitbit: that latch design is terrible. If me working in the yard, playing golf, exercising, etc. corrupts the latch that holds the watch together, you need a new design. I will probably get 1 band replacement out of this and then have to throw the watch away. Maybe you're designing your products to break, instead of trying to grow your happy, satisfied customers?
