How do I change the email address for my Fitbit account?

I need to change my email address. Closed that address. Thanks

Hi @Momsnm  you need access to the email address you're changing from in order to get it changed. One reason for this is to prevent someone from changing the email address other than yourself.

@Momsnm , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 

As mentioned by Odyssey13  you need access to the email address you're changing from in order to get it changed. For security reasons. 

Many email services allow you during a time frame after you close the account to access (activate it again) after you closed it, in case you did it by mistake.
