How do I change the time on my Fitbit Charge 3?

It gets date and time from phone or other sync device each time it syncs.  Other than time zone settings if off by exact number of hours, that is the only way to set the time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It's great to see you here @Redneck1993 and @JohnnyRow thanks for stopping by.

If you want to change the time on your tracker, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provide there.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

my Fitbit will no longer synch so how can i change the time?

@clarejenkins  I'm afraid if you can't sync then you can't change the time.

Have you tried the following steps to get syncing working again?

My charge 3 does not sync. I have tried a reset, shutting it off and NOTHING works. All I wanted was to change the time zone. When I go to the menu and change it then hit synce notheing happens but errors!!!! This should not be this difficult. This is the worse product I have ever experienced!!!!!! It was purchased as a gift and has NEVER worked or synced correctly!!!!!

Thanks, AlejandraFitbit!

I visited a different timezone and my Charge 3 adjusted, but upon returned did not switch back. The Automatic Time Zone setting was not turned on in my Advanced Settings. LOL

@ron1942-1 You can't manually set the date or time but it should reset itself whenever it syncs to your phone or computer based on the time on that device. Does your fitbit seem to be syncing ok?

The other thing that affects the time is the timezone in your profile. You can check yours at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile If you do change it then you'll need to sync again to update your fitbit.
