How do I remove the health and well-being notifications of my Charge 4? I am getting about 30 reminders a day and it is getting really annoying!

Hi,

I have found out what to do.

On your fitbit app, top left corner tap on your name/your account. Then tap on Your Device. You can then see your apps and it is in the list underneath to turn off health and well-being reminders. I have turned mine off so it definitely works.

Let me know how you get on 😊

Welcome to the Community, @BEChick.

If you want to disable some of your notifications, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app
  2. Tap your image icon
  3. Swipe up and tap Notifications
  4. Disable or enable the notifications you prefer
  5. Sync

Let me know the outcome.

I also somehow signed up for these style of notifications "Don't let the day get away - take a minute away from screens"

I have looked in the Notifications as mentioned above but cannot identify what these are and they are getting very annoying and causing my battery to drain quickly.

Thanks if you can help, Janet

I phoned for some advice about these notifications. I used the live chat.. twice. No help whatsoever. Once you allow these health and well-being notifications then you are basically stuck with them. There is no way to disable, so they tell me, unless you select Do Not Disturb. Not very helpful at all 🤔

I thought when I clicked the button they said you could unsubscribe at any time, they are a real nuisance I hope they can figure a way to stop them. Thanks for the feedback

Hi everybody,

Since a week I have the same notifications coming out of nowhere, and I can't seem to turn them off.

I watched the instructions given by @BEChick but I don't see the option "health and well-being reminders". I do have the dutch app, but nothing like that... I don't know how to turn it off. Hope someone can help!

Kind regards, Sofie

Oh, I forgot, I have a fitbit versa (1). I don't think it mattes that much, but just in case!

Did you ever get a response to this? I don't have that option either.

Will there be anything to indicate that we have that option when it's available? Those messages are horribly annoying. I don't have the option to turn them off either.

Hi

On the app, click on the top left corner where your profile picture is.

Go down to where is says Charge 4.

Click on that.

Scroll down to general.

Click on health and wellness reminders and unselect them.

Hope this helps 😊

It doesn't help, because we don't have this option, so kind of hard to unselect... I will return mine. Fitbit let down number 2 (first versa died when swimming in a pool.). Shame of fitbit.

Unfortunately, I don't have "Health and Wellness" to click on. 🥺

Hi, I have this same issue. I was actually hoping it would be resolved when I got the latest update, so I held off on messaging until then. But I still do not have the Health and Wellness reminders option in my list. I noticed this is a fairly old thread here. Just wondering, are they are still working on this issue?

I'm kind of annoyed when I'm in the middle of a run and my watch is telling me I should sit down and relax, or, another good one is when I'm just starting a 10 hour shift at work. It is really a minor annoyance, sort of bordering on being funny. But I just want to shut it off, and I can't.

I have a Charge 4, and I live in Canada (if that is relevant)
