I had been wrestling with this last night but a good night sleep always works well. Got up this morning and re-download the fitbit app. Went through the setup instructions til the watch said the download or update message. Went on my charge 4 clicked on about and clear data. After that it went right through the rest of the setup. Hope this helps someone. Just basically factory reset your tracker. Then it will pop up on the screen to update now or later.
