How do I reset my Access PIN for Fitbit Pay on Charge 3?

My Fitbit Pay has stopped working because I forgot my 4 digit PIN. I'm trying to find PIN reset on my dashboard but I can't locate that function in my mobile app dashboard.

 

How do I reset my PIN with a factory Reset? Can't find this topic in any threads. Please help!!

Hello there @Sassygirl.s, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for already trying to reset your PIN on your Dashboard and on your Fitbit mobile app. Nice way to go! 

To unlock your device with your phone:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > your device image. 
  2. Tap Device Lock.
  3. Find the option to reset your PIN code. 

Note that after you reset your PIN code, you must add your cards to Fitbit Pay as if you were setting it up for the first time.

Hello. I also forgot my password and can’t do the suggestion because when I go to “Device Lock” it asks to enter the 4 digit PIN that I forgot. So there is no possibility to change or reset it.

On point 2

 When you select device lock, it does not give options, it asks for your pin code before you can proceed.

 

I dont even remember setting this up and none of my usual pin numbers work, is there a way to reset the pin?

Just had to do this, you have to continually get the passcode wrong until you run out of attempts. Doing this wipes you fitbit wallet so youll have to set it all up again but will allow you to make a new code.

I know this info is probably way to late to be helpful to you but hopefully putting it here will make it easier to find for the next person that has to do it

It took me a lot of wrong guesses to figure this out, but the pin it's asking for is your phone pin.  Enter that, and you'll see the option to reset your fitbit pin.

I was just running into same issue. I logged in via website. I went into my account—-> settings—->clicked on device icon then you should see “deactivate Fitbit pay”. Then I went back into the app went into account ——>Device icon—->device lock and was given option to change pin

I think that's because you set it as your phone pin. When it prompts you for the pin, it even says "Your [FITBIT_MODEL] already has a PIN"

In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab. your profile picture. your device image.
Tap Device Lock.
Find the option to change your PIN code.
